2026 opens with a milestone I can’t quite believe: my 50th exhibition (yes, I counted). I’m currently juggling three shows, with the promise of a couple more. Each one quietly gnaws away at the already limited hours I have, so yes, I’m still time-poor.
When I’m not working full-time at a large botanical garden, I’m usually in parent mode: ferrying one child toward a future with the Lionesses, and another toward a starring role in Annie. I love the unapologetic confidence of children. The rest of the time disappears into the small but relentless demands of life. Everything is a squeeze, so the little time I have to myself has to matter.
I’m going to work a little bit harder on telling people when I’m doing something. Nobody really blogs anymore, do they?
